This is one of the most famous and inspirational speech of all times and it has helped people all over the world overcame their fears and follow their dreams but, in my opinion, this speech won a lot of credit not only by the concept, but also because of the one who made it, Martin Luther King Jr.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner was calm and grounded as he delivered his speech, bringing the audience a sense of security and trust. One of the most important things in a speech is making the people believe and for that, one have to know how to reach the audience heart, making straight, intelligent, powerful points. My personal favorite part,“This sweltering summer of the Negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality.”, shows that Martin Luther King Jr. have indeed, all the characteristics needed to, in my opinion, deliver a great speech.
